Board of Directors
Rohit is Managing Partner and co-Founder of Lumis Partners. He has been working across a global footprint, in creating strategies & building a synergistic portfolio of businesses for the Firm, whose philosophy is – investing, building and scaling Managed Services Companies in domains with fragmented value chains.
Rohit’s background has been in running technology & services businesses; managing M&As; and leading large Initiatives. In Lumis, Rohit has been actively building the team and executing the Operating philosophy of the fund in the multiple ecosystems and portfolios that have been built, by leveraging deep domain, incisive technology, and interventional analytics. Rohit enjoys hands-on involvement in structuring large deal economics, building IP assets, and 6Sigma deep-dives.
Before Lumis Partners, Rohit was at GE, and in his last position, he was CEO of GE Software Solutions, which was chartered to build proprietary IP, Systems and Technology for GE. His career at GE spanned leadership roles across multiple businesses. Rohit has also worked with HCL Corporation, and Cadence Design Systems.
Rohit is a postgraduate from the London School of Economics and an Engineer in Computer Science from Delhi University.
Victor is an Executive Partner at Lumis, where he has lead the Corporate Development and Mergers and Acquisitions efforts of the firm since 2008. He has more than 20 years of global experience in complex transactions. He brings tremendous experience to Lumis’ portfolio companies; from developing strategic direction, value building towards exits, global operations, outsourcing contracts, and the perspective of having lead numerous transactions both as a strategic buyer and a seller, partnerships, joint ventures, debt and equity financing. Victor is based out if Lumis US offices in Stamford, CT.
Prior to Lumis, he was Senior Vice President for Genpact (NYSE:G), he was responsible for the company’s Corporate Development activities for 3 years. Before that, during his 11 year tenure with GE, Victor lead many acquisition and divestiture transactions the company entered into, as part of the GE Energy business and the GE Corporate Headquarters’ teams.
Victor serves on the board of OnProcess Technologies and DocPanel Inc. He is also the Founder and Chairman of the India Youth Fund, an US NGO supporting education and skilling programs for underprivileged youth across India. Victor is a graduate from the Escola Universitaria de Negocis de Catalunya (UPC) in Spain, and the GE Financial Management Program.
Arjun Malhotra, a member on the Lumis Board, counsels the Lumis Partners team vis-à-vis Governance, Sector Strategies, Go-To Market, and Portfolio Reviews.
Co-founder of the HCL Group, one of India’s largest technology companies, Arjun is a proven business leader and lifelong entrepreneur. He was most recently chairman and CEO of Headstrong, leading a turnaround that culminated in the company’s sale to Genpact.
Arjun is on the Board of Governors for prestigious institutions including: the Indian Institute of Technology Foundation (Kharagpur); Indian School of Business, Hyderabad; Rajiv Gandhi Indian Institute of Management (IIM), Shillong; IIM, Udaipur; and The Doon School, Dehradun. In addition, he founded the Prof. G.S. Sanyal School of Telecommunications at IIT, Kharagpur.
Arjun holds a Bachelor of Technology with honors in electronics and electrical communication engineering from IIT, Kharagpur and earned the Dr. B.C. Roy Gold Medal. He was honored with a Doctor’s of Science degree (honoris causa) and named Life Fellow of IIT, Kharagpur. Malhotra also attended the Advanced Management Program at Harvard Business School.
Rahul is an entrepreneur and a technology innovator. As co-founder of Entercoms, he drives the vision for Entercoms’ analytics and AI platform that powers the BPaaS delivery model.
Rahul is passionate about building and working with high-performance teams that combine digital design, AI, technology and consulting skills to bring to market outstanding solutions for end customers. Prior to Entercoms, Rahul worked at i2 Technologies (later acquired by JDA) in consulting and product marketing roles, delivering supply chain solutions to customers in Hi-Tech, Retail, Consumer Goods and Automotive sectors. Rahul holds a B. Tech. in Mechanical Engineering from the Indian Institute of Technology, an M. Tech. in Industrial and Management Engineering from the Indian Institute of Technology, and a Ph.D. in Operations Management from the McCombs School of Business at the University of Texas at Austin. He has published articles in academic journals on the topic of complementarity effects in product line design.
