Entercoms Names Michael Smith as Chief Commercial Officer - Aftermarket Services Veteran Brings Proven Expertise and Leadership
(DALLAS) – Entercoms, Inc. (Entercoms), a provider of aftermarket supply chain services, today named Michael Smith as chief commercial officer. He brings more than two decades of experience to the company after serving in leadership roles with Foxconn and Motorola. In his new role, Smith will be responsible for commercial strategy and development in marketing sales, product development and customer service, as the company seeks to drive business growth and expand market share.

Previously, Smith was vice president and general manager of aftermarket services for Foxconn International Holdings (FIH), where he was responsible for operational transformation and execution of the new business model. During his tenure, FIH aftermarket services improved profitability and increased efficiencies, while dramatically enhancing customer satisfaction and loyalty scores.
He previously served as a vice president and general manager for FIH’s Mexico manufacturing and distribution plant after its acquisition from Motorola. Smith began his career at Motorola, working in a variety of operations, engineering and plant management capacities. He ultimately became director and general manager of the North America cellular phone manufacturing plant in Mexico, consistently exceeding operations improvement targets.

Smith earned his master’s and bachelor’s degrees in electrical engineering from the University of South Florida.
