What is Entercoms' methodology?

How can you help me today with Parts Planning?

First, we evaluate your business needs and how they are being met today. Are your planners doing a lot of key-entry work, rather than planning?  Is their day filled with non-core activities? Are they behind in their work because of data mining for reports? How much time is your planning team devoting to strategic planning activities? We identify, then eliminate a lof of your non-core work, automate performance management, and also provide you additional strategic planning capabilities, allowing your planning teams to focus on their core planning activities.

How can I reduce my Transportation costs?

Since transportation costs are fixed based on volume and contract levels -- and usually outsourced to 3PLs -- many think this area has little potential for savings. However, transportation optimization can lead to substantial cost savings. Entercom’s Service Bureau has created a program to evaluate every movement of your supply chain, your warehouse locations and customer needs. We can optimize your transportation costs while increasing your level of service and performing it at a lower cost.

How can I manage my Inventory more efficiently?

We have seen the industry espouse ideas from JIT, KANBAN, inventory sharing and countless others. The truth is not all ideas work for all businesses. There are a variety of strategies that can be used with your existing tools that can give you measurable benefits using techniques such as pooling, smart allocation and balancing. We can use analytics to discover how much inventory you should eliminate (or add) given your service budget and customer service level targets.

How can I improve Customer Satisfaction?

At Entercoms, our Service Bureau starts with the customer’s needs and your contractual entitlements to them. Having the right part at the right place at the right time is critical to customer satisfaction -- and so is the quality and speed at which field service teams take care of customer issues. We perform root cause analysis and corrective actions on every demand not met or every customer service "hit" recorded. Then we proactively seek out and apply those lessons learned across other similar areas of your business.

At Entercoms, we believe in smart-sourcing, not outsourcing. By smart-sourcing, we mean operating with the right combination of skill-sets and locations that maximize your business capability, flexibility and efficiency. Our teams are currently located across many locations in North America (US), Europe (UK) and Asia (India). Our processes and mindset are global. We hire people from a wide range of backgrounds, and very selectively. For instance we have industry experts, seasoned planners, well-trained operations personnel (many are multi-lingual), technology gurus well-versed in classic and cutting edge software technologies, and statistical and analytics experts with PhD and Masters backgrounds. The executive and management team drives a process-oriented culture throughout Entercoms.

Can I get full time support globally for my service operations?

Entercoms supports global operations across all time zones. We are already working with customers who are doing business globally -- in over 100 countries -- and in multiple languages.

How can we improve with limited IT and programming support?

Entercoms' ServiceNet platform and technology team can help you in all aspects of improving your aftermarket supply and service chain, including your installed base, spare parts inventory and service delivery workforce. ServiceNet is an analytics and service chain event management platform that is used by us to manage service operations and performance, and can be enabled for you as a service. It can also fill out the "white spaces" left out in your current IT environment -- capabilities that you need, but don't have today.
